Babcock Studios is a professional acting studio for film, television and theater created by Hollywood teacher, filmmaker and actor Todd Babcock.

After a lifetime of work as an actor and teaching at university and privately, Babcock decided to create a workshop based on the desire to address the growing gap between stage technique and the practicalities of a working set. To help actors develop a creative and honest method of working that serves both the script and the needs of production.

The acting classes at Babcock Studios are designed to evolve the creative process of the actor from text analysis, working through action and intentions to accommodating that performance for the camera.

Working through a variety of techniques learned from extensive study over 35 years, the format evolves from the breaking down of the script to working it on stage and then adapting it for the camera.
